How to Order a Certificate of Good Standing

Go to the Secretary of State’s website, where you can search for your company name:

Type in your company name hit enter, and click on your company.

Above the large title ‘Business Corporation’ or ‘Limited Liability Company’ (depending on what kind of entity you have), there are a bunch of tags you can click on.

Click on "Order a Document Online" (outlined in red in the picture below).

On the line that says “Existence/Good Standing”, put a "1" in Qty and scroll down to the bottom.

Click on “Add to Cart and Check Out”. It will cost $13.00 and you can download it yourself.
